Ecobuild Federal & AEC-ST Federal to Return to DC in 2007
as Ecobuild Fall & AEC-ST Fall

Centerville, Mass. (November, 29, 2006) - After experiencing a significant increase in attendance by AEC professionals from the private sector, the Ecobuild Federal and AEC-ST Federal event will be named Ecobuild Fall and AEC-ST Fall when it returns to Washington, D.C, December 11 - 13, 2007. While its moniker has changed, the quality of conference offerings and cutting-edge exhibit display will remain the same continuing to make Ecobuild Fall and AEC-ST Fall the premier event for Green Building, Sustainable Design, Environmental Planning, Construction Technology, and Information Management. The Spring counterpart is Ecobuild America & AEC-ST which will take place May 15-17 in Anaheim, CA.

George Borkovich principal of event producer Ecobuild America explains, "Our goal is to bring private and public building professionals together to experience a comprehensive assemble of resources for the built environment in one convenient location. We are still dedicated to being the annual meeting place for government building professionals which is why we chose to locate this Fall event inside the beltway. However, AEC professionals from the private sector are also showing a booming interest in sustainable design and hot new technology like Building Information Modeling and currently make up almost 76% of our attendees. Our new name better reflects how our outstanding conference content and exhibit serves both groups simultaneously and is a positive step in the growth and development of our event."

Ecobuild Fall and AEC-ST Fall is an annual event that goes beyond green to cover the breadth of green building, sustainable design, renewable energy, environmental planning processes and information collaboration strategies for commercial, industrial, institutional and residential construction.

Attendees include the federal government, design and construction decision-makers from the public sector and private practice, AEC professionals, owners, developers, and facility managers - the entire project team in one place, at one time.

The exhibit features a uniquely integrated display of the latest green and sustainable building products, technologies, developments, and services, as well as IT solutions to help AEC professionals better design, specify, and manage their projects.

The 3 day conference program contains scores of technical sessions focused on: Sustainable Design; Building Performance & Engineering; Green Construction & Homebuilding, Specifications, Codes & Contract Documents; Project Management & Delivery; Information Technology, BIM & Interoperability; Facilities Management & Operations; Infrastructure, Civil/Site/Land development; International Markets & Business, Government - Federal, State & Municipal.
